Dear Students;

As Siirt University's Faculty of Agriculture, we aim at contributing to the production of science and technology by producing knowledge at universal level with our distinguished, dynamic and experienced academic personnel, laboratory, field and mechanization resources. We aim to train individuals respecting our institutional values, who will be successful in public and private sector in all parts of the world with professional ethics, environmental awareness, creative, entrepreneurial, dynamic, participatory, scientific and self-confidence.

We are aiming to modernize agriculture in Siirt province, to solve the problems from a scientific point of view, to serve the Siirt province agriculture, and to raise agricultural engineers who will carry out education and research on this area. By establishing Siirt University, Faculty of Agriculture our goal is to contribute both to our region and to our valuable students.

EmploymentOpportunities

The graduates of our department can find jobs as agricultural engineers in manynational and international firms that are active in the field of agriculture, they can starttheir own agricultural pesticide franchises as independentagriculture engineers, and they can also give consultancy services to agriculturalinstitutions such as private farms, greenhouses and packaging factories. Inaddition, our graduates can find job opportunities as academic personnel invarious universities continuing their academic careers as well as working in various institutions connected to The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock;especially in Plant Health Research Institutes and Directorates of Agricultural Quarantine.
